Insect-inspired Doomguy helmet design

These past few days I've been having a blast coming up with ideas for a mod, and designed a helmet to go along with it. I attempted to mix elements from both the classic and modern designs, in addition to taking inspiration from the Shin Kamen Rider helmet, as well as insects in general. Here is my very simple drawing:

 

 

In canon, the helmet would originally be from a (modified) bootleg action figure based off of Doomguy himself.

This didn't get any attention so I'll just say the design does look really cool and your apparent love for these critters gives me hope for some high effort total bug conversion.

i absolutely love this concept. "bug tech" has always been an aesthetic i always loved. always reminds me of hexbugs for some reason. also the antennae on top look kind of like eyebrows and i love that. great job on this.
