Litterally given a "warning" just for posting a link to Reddit, feel like moderator who did this abused thier power

This HAS to be abuse of mod powers. I highly doubt that posting links to Reddit or shitposting are against the rules. (for clarity, I made the whole thing it's own post, it's not like I randomly started self-promoting)

Would posting "cringe" litterally justify a fucking warning?

The warning points that I have are pretty much from insulting someone directly, and since your post was you writing a very cringy story calling someone a neckbeard and some other incoherent stuff I'd say probably.

Then why wern't insults mentioned in the warning instead of it being about "cringeworthy Reddit crap"

He's right tho, reddit is big bad website

Does that justify a warning though?

Also, I've noticed that anti-Redditors are just as "holier-than-thou-art" as stereotypical Redditors.

I certainly would start any thread looking for some kind of clemency by saying this is mod power abuse.

For the record i saw that thread you referenced and it was garbage. Threads need effort to survive. A random Reddit thread is the antithesis of effort.

No, but this thread complaining about the staff certainly would.

And that's exactly why we don't do Reddit threads without much substance here. Because of these little snipes.

Complaints to Staff can be solved on PM if they concern yours or their behaviors if you feel strongly of it.

I think the reason given is weird but the warning itself was valid. It was completely irrelevant and random. I think whoever typed the warning just didn't give enough context.
