What's the source of the dwango5 plasmagun sound?

Im trying to find any high res remakes of this sound. I think it's the best plasma sound ever in my book, it's just that im so used to using an high def pack for Doom that I cannot stand these old sounds. I wonder if anyone has a source or managed to make a decent high def take on it.

iirc it's the Doom 64 plasma rifle sound, which probably comes from some sound library that they got the rest of the PSX/64 sfx from

 

So there's a good chance that there's a higher definition version of it somewhere in a sound library

I’ve heard it’s used in the Terminator, though I haven’t caught it while watching the movie.

 

Interestingly, Dwango5 predates PSX Doom/Doom64 and has a longer version of the sound, so there’s a chance the sound was actually “sourced” from D5, though it would be great to hear it in full fidelity!

Funny things, There two wads before dwango come out, elemental.wad did use that pistol sound before dwango and psx doom come out, space.wad use that shotgun sound before dwango and psx doom come out (even tho it most likely that shotgun sound is from terminator 2).
