How to run the Voxel 3D DOOM mod?

How to run the Voxel 3D DOOM mod on Windows 11 with GZDOOM 4.10.0?

 

I went to the mod's page in MODDB but didn't find any information about how to run the game.

 

I also didn't find a README file in the directory of the game that I have extracted from the zip file.

 

As it is an entire directory and not just a WAD file or a pk3 file etc, I guess I shouldn't drug it to the GZDOOM exe file (I tried, I got some Jibbrish-colored DOOM).

Use the whole zip, without unpacking it, just like you'd load a wad/pk3. pk3s are essentially zip files

 

By the way, there is a readme (voxel_readme.txt) in the zip, which says:

// INSTALLATION

...

Place the cheello_voxels.zip file in your GZDoom folder. Drag the file onto your gzdoom.exe and select a WAD file to run.

 

If you don't have that, make sure you're not accidentally working with some completely different download somehow.

Yes I think this is it. In E1M1: Hangar when I start in "Ultra Violence" mode and go up the stairs just left of the starting point and then look down, I do see 3D models. 

 

Strange though that when I am up and they are down near the two columns, when they shoot, it seems as if they aim to the wall and not to the DOOMGUY upstaris.
