Texture glitch that is going to make me rip head off

Recommended Posts

I have been suddenly affected by a texture glitch and I can't seem to find a solution for it anywhere.

This is how the texture looks on the editor (GZDoom Builder):

This is how it looks in-game (DSDA DOOM):

This is a multi patch texture and for some reason the bottom and top patch is moving position in-game. Is there a limitation that I'm not aware that doesn't let arrange textures in this way?

I'm mapping Doom: Doom2 (Doom format) format by the way.

Yes. The texture glitch keeps happening with or without a offset.

If you look at the wall on the right in the ingame pic, the glitch is also affecting it. That wall doesn't have a offset in it's texture.

Hmm.. Yeah, you are right.

The middle black texture had the same the problem until I moved it a bit and I think it was also a Y negative value. I guess a new thing to avoid. I'm glad I normally avoid doing multi patch texture stuff.

I wish I could have found that thread earlier.

Well, thanks everybody. That's the solution then.
