Killdozer Posted June 19, 2023 Watched this youtube video, but i could not find Plane > Plane Aling from edit linedef menu. Im using Doom Builder X and testing maps in GZDoom. Do i have wrong doom builder version or does it have something to do with sourceport? 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
BUYXRAYS Posted June 19, 2023 (edited) Are you using Hexen format? Make sure that you are using it. If not, then there might be another issue Edited June 19, 2023 by BUYXRAYS Better wording 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

smeghammer Posted June 19, 2023 Any map editor that supports DiHF or UDMF allows slopes. I personally use Eureka, but most DB (all?) versions, Slade3 map editor etc. will allow it. Fundamentally, it is a configuration on a linedef for line type 181, Plane_Align: https://zdoom.org/wiki/Plane_Align. There are other ways, noted here, but I haven't used them. You can find a test map I made ages ago here: https://github.com/smeghammer/snippets/tree/master/3d_floor Look at '3d_floor.wad'. It's DiHF, made in Eureka. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
boris Posted June 19, 2023 Switch to UDB and UDMF and do slopes like the cool kids. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
