Hey guys, girls, men, women, and everyone else whom I missed! Hope you are all fine! Lets talk about physical height, shall we!

 

Height, has always being considered as one of the main aspects of personality. It is a physical attribute that is visible to the world, and it is often the first thing we notice about someone. Some individuals are blessed with towering height, while others may be more petite in stature, like for example, I am, an Indian guy whose age is 19, and I am 5 feet 2.5 inches. Yeah, I accept I am really very short, because an average Indian's male height is around say 5'7- 5'8 and woman's is 5'3 - 5'4 and a true fact is average height of women in some european countries, USA, some other western countries and even some eastern countries like Australia and New Zealand, is the same as an average Indian man! You can imagine, how men would be tall in these countries!

 

But, we must remember that, stature is not confined to physical height alone. It encompasses emotional, intellectual, and moral qualities that shape a person's character. A person's kindness, compassion, integrity, and intelligence are far more significant than any measurement of height. Furthermore, it is essential to promote inclusivity and acceptance in our society. Celebrating diversity is what makes humanity beautiful, and this includes embracing individuals of all heights. Everyone deserves respect, regardless of their physical attributes, and should be valued for their unique contributions to the world.

I am 5 feet 8 inches tall, which roughly translates to 172.72 centimeters. I used to be 5 feet 9 inches tall, but gravity and spinal compression got the best of me. Sigh.

Most of us posting are short so far. I'm curious who are quite tall in Doom World, and how they feel about it.

 

I'm quite a short male for an Australian (Italian DNA), being 5'3 where many Aussies are indeed 5'7 to 6+.

 

I'd love to be taller, as height generally gains more respect by men and be more attractive to women. However that also comes with underrated advantages, e.g. not perceived as a threat from competitive men and reduced attention from shallow women. Leveraging this wisely brings in excellent results. In addition I like being mistaken for someone 10 years younger than he actually is.

According to the (western) world, I am neither short or tall, I am in height purgatory and enjoy my 0 benefits. I don't care, and I highly encourage to not care either. Comparing height with others is like a dick measuring contest with no winners.

 

Edit: How the actual funk you do calculate with in Imperial units? Some sites say that I am 5 feet 9 Inch and some say I'm 5 Foot 6 Inch. I don't understand

yeah yeah. Tall height is very attractive for women. Don't worry. Height is mostly determined by genetics.

I stopped growing when I was 15, I was very tall back then compared to my schoolmates, at my current age (51) I'm tall but not exceptionnally so.

Much like Chezza, I'm also a pint-sized Aussie standing at just 5'5 and stopped growing at 13. I've never been all that fussed or insecure about my height, nor has it ever been a hindrance in my 32 years of life.

5’5.5 or about 1.7 meters. Well, last time I measured. I’ve been told I’ve looked taller then and there. American female, 17 years old
