Well, Doom 64 EX+ and SEX+ (pun totally intended) may have better working multiplayer, don't really know about that though as I'm one of those dudes that plays on the Remaster (VANILLA COMPATIBILITY!!!)

Doom 64 EX+ Looks (and seems) a-lot better made , a far improvement from it's Big Bro EX , but it's not supported by Windows Yet Only Linux & A few others Like Rasberry Pi. Support will come to other platforms at a later date (according to the creator) But We'll see.

Not sure where you heard that, the GitHub repo just says there's no installer. There's a Windows build attached on the release page.

 

I don't think Doom 64 itself has co-op player starts, so unless EX+ works around that somehow you're going to have a problem even if it technically has networking. The comments on the first video you posted mention having to modify the maps.

Huh , Didn't see the Windows Build attachment , thanks . And yes EX did have "modified maps" for player 2 , 3 & , 4 spawns , But IDK if EX+ plus does , ValveMercenary wasn't sure if it had multiplayer spawns either , but since there's a Windows Build (that I know of now) I'm Gonna found out if it has coop and dm

Try a Google search, the first two results I get are its ModDB page and its Doom Wiki page.

 

I don't know if Doom CE supports multiplayer though...

I know , I was trying to show it as a gif but the thing wouldn't work...

In vanilla Doom 64 they would be a major issue, likely they couldn't be convincingly done. For the ZDoom ports, they replace them with 3D floors, so there they work fine in multiplayer.
