How do I edit c1text in dehacked 3.1?

That's why im suggesting Whacked4 and it highlights what you need to look for.

I own a mac so sadly I can't run it. I also tried to use wine but it gave an error

Boom strings are just text where you don't need to worry about the original text length as with dehacked, so you can edit them with any text editor pretty easily, just replace any new lines with '\n' . It might take some trial and error to get the line spacing right, this is still true with using WhackEd though. (You should probably test it in non-widescreen resolutions, unlike my screenshot below.)
