No. One of our major telecommunications companies changed their name well over a decade ago, and people often still use the original name. Hell one shop still has a sticker for prepaid mobile credit for them in spite of my pointing it out twice.

Wow amazing next feature they should remove is the ability to post and create accounts. In fact, to make the site more fitting to the name X, the entire site should just be eliminated. It's going to sound really stupid when they talk about it on the news now. "Yeah, today the president X'ed a statement about blah blah blah...".

 

I was already sick of hearing the word "Tweet" 800 times on the TV every day. I wish someone would flush this shit down the toilet. I get so sick of it. Half the stories on the news are about petty internet drama and it stinks. I understand it's a necessity for "important" people to use it, but it feels so fucking stupid hearing about world leaders communicating via this shit. I know that this isn't a unique prespective, but I've really grown sick of it.
