Something like MMOD for Doom 3?

So everybody knows the MMOD for Half life 2? Is there something like it for Doom 3? Thanks!

Probably not, as we don't have any real source code to mod Doom 3 with!

They're 2 mods that are like MMOD.

 

One it's called Perfected Doom 3.

Overhaul a lot of things including weapons and lighting, including stuff like dual welding and more use for demonic artefacts.

 

The other one is Doom Redux that aim for a more vainilla experience with better fidelity grafics.

 

I'd there another one that can write here without being 100% Doom 3 maps would be Doom 3 Phobos.

I thought soruce code for D3 was released long time ago. I could be wrong.

Doom 3 source was definitely released, November 2011 according to wikipedia. Among other things, there's a modernized codebase calle dhewm3, and it (the original source release) was the base of the Thief-inspired "The Dark Mod."

I found this mod for BFG Edition that seems to introduce features similar to MMOD, i.e. gameplay and audiovisual improvements while still retaining the feel and charm of the original.
