Is there an easy way to make weather in Doom?, more specially snow?

Depending on the format, there should be ways to make snowflakes spawn and fall, probably.

In auger Zenith I think they just use animated midtextures for rain.

There's a mod that adds rain/snow to any map, maybe you can go through it to see how they did it.
