It has nothing to do with the original monsters, but it looks good.

The Junji Ito-like zombie looks actually pretty cool

Good stuff. The first few pages remind me a lot of Metroid Prime.

The creature on top from first art reminded me of the prototype model of makuta chirox from  bionicle, the creature from art 2 on the right reminded me of mi-go from Cthulhu mythos. But without wings.
