Anyone have customer support numbers?

I need the customer support numbers for QuickBooks, Coinbase, and American Airlines. I'm trying to liquidate my crypto in order to fund an overseas vacation but I'm not sure of the ramifications on my tax filings.

I know of one other unrelated forum where the same exact thing is happening, seems like someone just made all the usual verification steps obsolete with their new bot

So clearly the verification measures need to be hardened. In addition to your e-mail, you're gonna need to give your phone number, home address, bank account number, firstborn son, mother's maiden name, a blood sample just for good measure...

Weird I'm only seeing the Quickbooks threads. Like over 30 of them by now. But some of you are seeing the Coinbase, American Airlines, Binance (sic).

I was just thinking of making a thread to ask where all of these are coming from. It seems like every day the entire first page will be filled with these same threads. Why us? We're not a small community by any means but why not a more general and larger forum?

More general and larger forums don't really exist anymore. I'd wager that Doomworld's probably a larger forum of its type nowadays. Social media sites and services like Discord really have swallowed up most of the Internet.

I joined up a couple of months back, since I needed a break from something I was working on at that time, and being on an honest old-school forum made me feel like I time travelled. I've missed it so much without realising.

it's not just us if you copy paste the post into bing,yandex or other search engines you can find that the same style post are posted on other forums like the xbox achievement forum, we should just add a capatha because the websites affected by these are the only ones without one

Two super moderators told me that most of these spam bots are coming from India.

 

As an Indian, even my account was accidently banned but thank God I'm able to join again.

Yeah it's an utter shame what they're doing, because (among many other reasons) it smears the names of good people who just happen to be relatively close geographically. Sorry you got caught up in all of that.

Yeah it's scammers doing SEO gaming. They want the numbers to show up at the top of the lists in Google and other search engines so hapless people look the numbers up and fall victim. I wouldn't say they despise us at all, they just see our forum as a tool to exploit. Dunno if that's better or worse.
