destre Posted August 13, 2023 Whenever I try to color remap/tint/colorise flats, the filetype converts to "unknown" and they don't render in game. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
knifeworld Posted August 13, 2023 This has been a problem for a while now I think. As far as I know there's no way around it, you (usually) have to close Slade3 after every successful conversion otherwise the next one will bork. That's assuming though that you're already placing the gfx you're importing between FF_START and F_END markers and that they're already 64x64, in which case the first one you try to convert should convert properly. IDK why this hasn't been fixed yet. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

ViolentBeetle Posted August 13, 2023 Flats are just a lump of bytes with no recognizable header, so SLADE doesn't always recognize them. Although what else could it be that is exactly 4 Kb lump? I was once told there's a way to force a type on a lump, but I forgot how. Maybe someone can remind. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
