Since the map doesn’t really fall within the Hell Revealed style in gameplay or aesthetics, I figured I’d release it standalone. This map is heavily inspired by Huy Pham’s Deus Vult. Sort of think of it as a Vanilla compat tribute. While this map targets Vanilla Doom (no VPOs, etc), I highly suggest playing in a port that increases the sprite limit, as this map was designed ignoring the limit. Technically this map can run and play demos in Vanilla Doom, but I wouldn't say it’s exactly playable in Vanilla (due to the aforementioned sprite limit). This map is supposed to be difficult. If it’s too hard on Ultra-Violence, don’t feel bad dropping down a difficulty or two. s4f3s3x Posted August 15, 2023 (edited) This was so, so much fun! I absolutely loathe Hell Revealed and the like but you're the one mapper that is always able to make this style entertaining, for me. I had a great time with the WAD on ITYTD, I'll probably enjoy Hell Revelations too when it's done. Question: I played in latest Crispy and this wall in the credit map doesn't seem to lower. Arsinikk Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) Here's a a bit of a minor hotfix for the map! Basically while getting to watch @TheShep play through the map (thanks so much :D), I noticed some minor bugs that I've fixed up.
