React to the track above You

Recommended Posts

IMG-20230821-003633.jpg

So I had this idea going for a while. Instead of just posting a track you like, you"ll be reacting to the track from your neighbour above before posting your own.

Give a short (but not too short) summary about why you liked the track and give a react sphere based on how much you liked it. Soulsphere if you're liking what you're hearing. Megasphere means you're liking the track alot. God Sphere means you're now addicted to the track, it has put a spell on you and you just can't get it out of your head. Invisibility sphere means that if you were to cease to exist physically, you would take this track to the spiritual world with you. Yea, that's a special one right there.

If you don't like the track however, just say that you're not feeling it or it's not your vibe but don't write a hateful essay about it or tear it apart either. It's all about the vibes. The real purpose here is to have more engagement and make you discover new and beautiful music expanding your playlist that you would've otherwise never heard about.

I"ll start off. ❤️

I basically discovered this track today during work. And before I knew it I was vibing hard to this colorful track by a very talented Egyptian artist.

@Mr. Freeze You didn't tell why you liked the track. :(

You were halfway there 😉

Anyway, the track you posted feels like I'm in the Wild west in the back of a horse cart driven by a Cowboy, while I doze off to sleep as he sings that song.

Here go's.

I guess just.......at first lonely but then something considerably more intimate, though quite slow-burning. Honestly, I'm not into this sort of new wave adjacent music. It's just not dark enough for me in that style.

Quite an ambient chill track, basically the slideshow in the video represents the islands that this song makes me think about well enough. I'm impressed with its length, too.

Not my kind of song, but I still find myself enjoying the track. It's cool, what else is there to be said? Well, I guess the instrumentation is pretty cool, nice acoustic yet simplistic sound... Uhh...

Anyways... Without sounding too pretentious or narcissistic, here's one of my own tunes (because I need literally anybody to tell me what they think)

So i have a short and sweet thing i will say about this song. I'm a sucker for deep moody piano tracks, this song for some reason always makes me feel better for some reason and of course it's dark but in a good way.

I wanted to add this in my first post initially, but had left it out. But just to have some red line. If you're a producer, please don't post your own stuff here. Even if its well intended, I don't want it to become that kind of thread. It's all about posting tunes you like and discovering what others like, so as a result your own likes and interests might expand.

@xScavengerWolfx

Are you telepathic? Because I was literally thinking of that song before you posted it. I love watching the live version of it from time to time.

A little goth is worthwhile sometimes especially when it's this good. Top notch piano work and the vocals are haunting.

Here's my contribution. A little ditty that won't take up much of your time.

Nice funky, emotive groove. The soloing probably kind of makes it though. I've definitely heard better King's X songs, but it's good.

Sounds like something from the early 90's arcade machines

Now what i have here is a song i still love from my high school days. This song, everytime i listen to it...it makes me think about all the times i had to be a fake person for my ex's

Not bad, I enjoy the riffs, there's a good energy to it.

I'll post what is so far the track I've got most into from the newest band I've found myself to be interested in.

Not a bad tune and it definitely has some potential, but I wish the instruments would go further with the melody rather than cycling/switching. That would give the song more consistency, IMO.

I'm liking the instrumental parts with the guitar at the beginning but once the singing (or rapping) starts it kind of loses me really fast.

On my way to the store for some beer after my brain melted from trying to learn script, I thought " hey, flutes of chi would make a good song for a sky level while blasting imps"

@nocisum If you're only posting a track then you should do it in the thread below, this one's about reacting on the track above you.

Hope you enjoy the beer, but don't get too drunk (you might miss the thread title that way beer.png).

Kind of just seems like average passable and chill club music, but the emotional undertones are appreciated. Still just a vibe though.

I guess it's supposed to be somewhat humoristic but its definitely not my thing at all unfortunately.

I think this song would benefit a lot if it was smoother.

The vocal style isn't really my jazz, but the guitar riffs, drums and chaotic ryhthm are very reminiscent of Buckethead's tracks from Sigil. I'm digging it. Was genuinely getting into the song by the end.

This is fantastic, it really brings to life the image of an authoritarian cyberpunk dystopia with it's somber, yet powerful and ominous tone. very fitting for the game and a beautiful track by itself.

Very nice, certified feel-good hood classic. Goes to the same tier as Over the Rainbow, or Save Ferris' Come on Eileen.

Let's shake things up a little with Corpo Mente.

I frickin' love French rappers, even when they choose something not related to gang life, it's just so energetic.

😲

I definitely like the coloring of this song and the components used in the beat, but I wish there were more parts to the song.

I really like the almost mythical berimbau feel that the instrumental of this track creates.
