As the game is i find it a tiny bit frustrating finding areas/items that obviously have been hidden but not getting told ''good job, you found a secret'' in any way shape or form. Tetzlaff Posted August 25, 2023 (edited) I agree, marked and notified secrets are more rewarding and they would work well with the semi-realistic style of Doom 3. Good thing is that you can create secrets like that easily in custom maps: use a target_tip to display a message like „You found secret area 1/3!“ and also connect the trigger_once with a custom secret found sound.
