This looks absolutely fantastic and unique, really dig the aesthetic! Some of the text used in the trailer is a bit hard to read, but the vibe you're going for is sublime. Can' wait to see more!

Oh my god, this looks rad as fuck! It's still unbelievable to me what you can do with UDMF and this is a really innovative use of the format. I personally can't wait to try it!

Edit: Okay, wait, perfectly aligned embedded images interspersed with animated gifs including transparent intro and outro gradients? What method of guerrilla marketing wizardry did you drop on us here? I'm sold on the presentation alone. Take my monies.

i'm usually not a fan of GZDoom-engine games for a bunch of reasons but this is gorgeous. The specific aesthetic and texture grain here really makes me think of the Nintendo DS's FPS games. Adore the aesthetic. I'm excited for the full release.

This... Oh my god how the hell is this running on GZDoom... This looks fantastic. I'm very curious to see how you plan to blend FPS action with turn-based strategy, because I imagine that could be a very hard balance to strike.

You're kidding... Is it really GZDOOM?! No, this is some kind of joke! How could the Creator realize THIS?! Even "Selaco" wasn't that impressive!

 

But the presentation is not impressive. Is it possible to show in Full Screen, and not in "TikTok" format?

 

Wait a minute... Is this a New Work from the one who made "DoomBoard" and "ENDLESS RELENTLESS"? Damn, but I haven't tried these Projects yet... It is clear that the Creator has great creative potential!

I completely forgot that I was on the Doomworld Forums for a second, what kind of ancient black magic and deals with the devil, did you conjure to be able to make something like this in GZDOOM?!?

 

One moment, I am looking for some good-quality vanilla doom maps to play and then out of nowhere, I get flashbanged by a amazing and bizarre trailer that shows a game that I can not even understand how to play, and yet this intrigue makes me want more.

This is very, very captivating. I like that there's some sort of aim mode like from Goldeneye, which is something I haven't seen FPS games do since. Also some sort of strategy gameplay? (when the player spawns in some kind of npc to fight) 

 

I think you should add some captions though, the stylized text is nice but difficult to read.

Whoa. This looks unlike anything I've seen in this engine before. Very interesting. Hope you'll be able to get time to finish this.

 

And for people wondering why it's a vertical video, the text in the description blurb says this is to be played in vertical widescreen with gameplay tailored for this, with horizontal screen supported. I was wondering why the trailer was vertical too, and I didn't even see the description in the OP at first, so it's easy to miss.

Woah! Thank you, everyone! I really didn't expect such comments; really inspire me to keep on!
On vertical format: I was obsessed with making something like that after I tried GZD on my coding display, and I was also under the impression of Disco Elysium and the whole dialogue thing, and I thought this format was going to suit it well. With some additional shader magic, I'm sure it can be comfortable for our eyes. 

Duckscout, I really don't want to go into the strategic aspect of gameplay, as the teaser already hints at some of it, and I want to keep it a secret for some time.

 

P.S. esselfortium, using a chance to appreciate your SpaceDM9, which I occasionally wander to enjoy the environment, as much as some midis!

That looks like a very impressive effort on using GZDoom for something else other than ''classic FPS''. Unique asthetic, nice reflections and Asian vibes make this look really fresh. @zeberpal you owe it to yourself to finish this, it would be a damn shame if this doesn't get there.

 

I am very happy to see people take GZDoom to all these places. Ill add it to the standalone thread :)

I've just made an account in order to say that this looks like no game I've experienced before and that I wish desperately to play it. You say it's on hold for life reasons - I hope everything's okay! All the best. This game looks to me like it could be something really special.
