Kwisior Posted August 28, 2023 (edited) Mine is currently on 6,4GB. It has about 290 different files (not all of them are WAD files) all sorted into categories. I'm curious if that's considered big on this site. Edit: It actually says something like 330/340 items, but I counted all the files within categories and subcategories, and came out with about 290, as mentioned above. Apprentice Posted August 28, 2023 Less then 2 GB and that is including all the base IWAD's, several editors (Doombuilder, WinZeth, Slade, Eureka) and some source ports. There are other locations available where I have stored DOOM related things . . . 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
DreadWanderer Posted August 28, 2023 Currently almost 11 GB, though about 4.5 of that consists of TCs like Ashes, Shrine, the whole Doom 64 CE suite, and their associated mods. I keep a separate folder for maps and map packs which is about 5.1 GB. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

Guff dotD Posted August 28, 2023 Files on a computer have no substance (besides information and electrons), and as such take up no mass. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Andrea Rovenski Posted August 28, 2023 8.6 GB for my main folder, not including demos 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
No-Man Baugh Posted August 28, 2023 My Doom mods folder: DOOM_SHTUFF 16.7 GB (17,954,213,714 bytes) 10,402 Files, 795 Folders This includes my IWADs, Doomkid's Big Vanilla Wad Pack, and a collection of unorganized wads from a previous machine that probably contains duplicates on top of all the properly sorted wads Even after sorting and deleting wads from my unorganized folder; I can guarantee that DOOM_SHTUFF is only going to grow 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I'm secretly hoping that skillsaw's Doom folder is around 50 GB, with half being megawads in progress to keep us busy for the next 10 years, and the other half comprised of beautiful sprites and textures that he'll eventually release for any mapper to use. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Capellan Posted August 29, 2023 There are under 1GB of WADs on my system, even including backup copies made by the map editor. I keep very little after I've played it. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

EPICALLL Posted August 29, 2023 374 Megabytes. Granted, a lot of the wads on my computer are in the downloads, so in reality, it's upwards of a gigabyte. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
rita remton Posted August 29, 2023 currently a total of 74.7gb, but have only played 25% of the wads :P 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
kalensar Posted August 29, 2023 (edited) 52.2 GB for me. That's including quite a few mods and TCs, but also includes all my wads I have. This includes Doomkid's big batch of wads collection, many others. Edited August 29, 2023 by kalensar 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
elborbahquarama Posted August 30, 2023 4,39 gb, 624 files and 150 folders, there's 131 wads and i played all of them from start to finish haha (it's 5,15 gb, 878 files and 194 folders if you include all the iwads and sourceports) 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
HavoX Posted August 30, 2023 Well, let's see... The WADs I have are mostly in the Doom Launcher folder, so altogether, it should be around 1.13GB. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
galileo31dos01 Posted August 30, 2023 Main "Wads" folder is 13 GB, I got each wad in separate folders, and a few still include png shots and whatever I didn't delete. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Shakariki Heisenberg Posted September 3, 2023 my doom mods folder is 1 gb but im kinda lazy so some wads are in just the downloads folder, and i have alot of source ports and like other doom stuff which have their own iwads and whatnot in their own folders so all of that combined maybe like 3-4 gigabytes 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Biodegradable Posted September 3, 2023 Last time I checked, it was something like 8gb but I've cleaned it out recently as there's no sense keeping personal copies of thousands of WADs that have already been thoroughly archived. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
NiGHTS108 Posted September 3, 2023 I was kind of embarrassed to see 30 GB, but it seems I'm not alone so that's nice 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
