Sorry to break the streak, but I gotta share my usual tidbit on UMAPINFO and I don't know nearly enough Spanish to attempt to translate it. :P

Short-ish version: You're best off ditching the 32-map format and using UMAPINFO to accept whatever number of maps happen. All relevant ports support it, and it'll make the project better for everyone involved. To quote a previous post of mine:

No reason to stick to Boom when MBF21 exists either. If you really want exactly cl9 semantics, you can do that with an OPTIONS lump, but the cl21 defaults ought to work out of the box unless you've got a super-niche use case.

Boom was chosen since is obviously more accesible for mapping and doesn't comprimise anything, also that none of the project leaders know how to access the format in UDB and other editors.

Unexpected to see you here xaser

Conclusion: Boom >>>>>>>>>>>> MBF21 vieja

Yo sí ;(

But he is right, not everyone in the team knows how to use it.

For UDB, all you need to do is select the "MBF21: Doom 2 (Doom format)" config in and you're good to go. If it's not appearing in the menu at all, make sure it's checked in the F6 dialog (or if it's missing entirely from there, you're probably running an older UDB and need an update).

For folks using other editors that don't (yet) have support for the new stuff, you won't be locked out of the project -- you can still make a Boom map, since MBF21 supports everything that Boom does. Think of it like "Boom 2" -- it's Boom with a few extra things sprinkled on top, but you're not forced to use them, just like you're not forced to put an SSG in a map to run it with doom2.wad.

Another nice thing is if you already have a work-in-progress Boom map (or limit-removing or vanilla or anything at a ""lower"" compat level), you can upgrade it to MBF21 just by selecting the configuration when opening your map, without any other "conversion" necessary. It's not like UDMF where it's a totally different map format with a whole bunch of complex stuff going on -- it's the Boom you know and love, but with a few more tools to play with.

[Though of course for this project, wait to see if the project lead OKs it before opting into it. ;]

I would not change the mapping format in the middle of development regardless if the mapping format does not cause problems between one format into another, I also don't see why it would be a benefit for a mapset to have  several maps in different formats. Just a quirk that would only slow the compiling process. Besides, most novice mappers won't even use Boom utilities to its full capacity, as this is  an 'everyone can join' project. I would leave the format or any of the other things unchanged.

For a future release things could differ, though.

Too bad I can't create similar project about my part of the world, because I am the only one from it. Can't wait to see HCP release. And interesting, would Final Doomer+ team create a weapon pack for your megawad, just like they did with JPCP. Good luck with development!

Other changes made:

GANO MILEI GANO CALAMARO
