Always have shotgun start?

Hello, I looked for a pk3 file or some explanation of how to make shotgun starts, and I found this post with a code for it.

However, I have no idea what to do with this code since I have never worked with code before. Does anyone know what to do with this code or does anyone have a fix to always have shotgun start?

 

[Edit] Solved it. In console I typed bind t shotgun and alias shotgun "summon shotgun" to summon a shotgun with 8 shells.

I'm assuming that you want that to use when playing maps by other people, since you could always just put one in at the start in your own maps. Most maps do tend to give the player a shotgun early, but sometimes starting with the pistol or another weapon for a while before a shotgun becomes available is intended for gameplay reasons.
