Slaughterwest My second old slaughterwad

Hello doomers, this is another second wad that i made long time ago, I also added new monsters and i made difficulty settings i would say this one isnt as hard as S_monster but it still pretty hard and more if u play in UV.

 

It only contains 2 maps, map01 and map02

omg, the gamma on these screenshots... By the look of it is the "wild west" themed WAD, and themed wads are always good. There are not too many.

You know, it's probably good that you got this out there, but it kind of feels there's a difference between ' very hard' and 'impossible' that was crossed with the idiot Azazel enemy. And some of these guys (Cacos) are far tankier than they need to be in this context.  anyways, here....

There is a lot of luck needed to survive the start of this, regardless of the strategy I think, and this makes it a very frustrating map to get into. The hitscan at the start just tears you to absolute shreds, even if you pick up the Armor. (Which I missed in my first few attempts) And from the video above, you can see running into a new area also provides a low chance of survival. I tried a few times but then just gave up.

 

I would move the player back and place a MegaArmor just in front of the player to help survive the initial onslaught. This might help the randomness of the start.
