Witch's Flakes Candy - (Chavo del ocho)

[Laser Doom]

Map based on the famous Mexican comedy series, chavo del ocho. There are two endings, the most obvious, you start a new game and the real one where you come across the "real" witch's house.

And I wonder why it took so long to get a Hispanic community project! The visual design here's absolutely top-notch! Monster placement is just so funny. And the best part is that there's a fair amount to be discovered if you're willing to hunt around a bit.

So I noticed :) I assumed the markers led players to the spots which progress the map.

Wow! What a coincidence! I also recently released my version of El Chavo del Ocho for Doom for the RAMP 2023 project — “El Chavo del Doom: Doomguy na Vila do Chaves”. Here's the link with some printscreens:

It's very interesting to see our different approaches to developing a narrative based on the same show. While you've done a great job creating textures that are more faithful to the series, I've tried to keep the aesthetic as vanilla as possible (the soundtrack was composed by Vitor Ottoni: they're versions of the songs from the series with a touch of the original Doom vibe).
 

I'm traveling at the moment, but I'll definitely want to play your version when I get home (and maybe record a gameplay, why not). Congratulations on your beautiful work!
