The Long Trek Back Home is set as an immediate post-Doom II journey where you go through the old levels in reverse order -from the icon all way back to entryway- with hellish, corrupted twists and turns.

 

Doom the Way We Remember It, and sequel, is as the title says: doom recreated entirely from memory recollections (theoretically) and from scratch, so most anything that fits into that was valid at the time of mapping. 

 

Wonderful Doom is the mapper's own redesign of doom 1 maps, it can be a good "memory test" type of gimmick
