I am taking a break

Before I say anything, I am aware that nobody will really care if I take a break. I am only posting this because

I somewhat feel required to post and remain active on doomworld. I am posting this so that I can let myself take a break without feeling guilty.

 

So as you can see, I am taking a short break from Doomworld.

The reason is that I am working on making my dream game!

 

I have been programming in C for a while and decided that I wanted to make an open-source and free

game. The issue is that I am focusing on this project more than I am focusing on anything else.

I am now going to temporarily take a break so that I can work on this full-time.

It could be a failure, but for now, I want to do this project.

 

(If you aren't interested in technology, skip this part)

I am making it using the ncurses library and plain C.

No C++, no game engine, I am making it from scratch using the most bare-bones technology.

I predict I will finish the game and return to doomworld in one or two months max.
