Freedoom1/doom64

I tried playing doom64 retribution(only 1.0-1.3 versions will play on it) on the Freedoom app from Google but for some reason the idclev stage select will not work until selecting stage 11 which turns into freedoom stage 11. No other doom64 maps seem to show up. However on Freedoom 2 all works fine. Since I kept Freedoom so Google would not hide or get rid of it, I wanted to see how doom64 worked. Any ideas why Freedoom 1 has this issue?

That's how Doom works. Some wads require Doom 1, some Doom 2.

I am speculating, but I know Retribution requires the Doom2.wad because Doom 64 has things like the super shotgun. So this could explain why it works with Freedoom 2 but not Freedoom 1.
