What's a wad that was fantastic.. but you forgot to finish it

With so many amazing wads out there I find myself playing one and hoping on to another without finishing it.  What's the last wad you've been meaning to complete.

Nex Credo.

Oh, you meant finish playing, not making... :P

Before the advent of Doom Launcher and its tracking making categorising completed wads so much easier, almost EVERY wad was this way. Almost no megawad ever captivated me enough to do it all in a few sittings, and I'd inevitably forget to resume it, play something else, then come back and find my save incompatible with updated source ports. My longest running one is Vilecore by @Doom_Dude, it was the very first megawad I ever found, and first played on Doom 95. Im currently 19 maps in and running it with my custom patch for it, and the TNT midi pack, and I think I can finally get through it this time, with DL keeping track of it and reminding me

As for intentional 'forgetting to finish it', @NaturalTvventy@Xaser and @Lutz's No End in Sight was so damn good and *everything* I ever wanted in an Ultimate Doom megawad, I deliberately stopped myself from playing it across months to preserve the experience. They all know im a NEIS fanboy, im certainly loud enough about it, but its always worth another mention.

More often than not, awesome wads are pretty tough, or at least the ones that I like the most, so usually i blaze through the first 15 maps or so and then I get stopped because the difficulty spike.

Thinking about Sunder, Down the Drain or Speed of Doom to name a few... also Plutonia Map 12.

I really enjoyed Deathless.  I stopped somewhere during episode 3 and never played it again even though I think about it playing it on rare occasions.

I also really enjoyed Stickney Installation's first episode, but I tried playing episode 2 and I didn't like the first couple of maps so I stopped.

Someday I'll revisit these and finish playing them.

Megaman 8bit dm is mine, if you count never finishing some of the side singleplayer content. Loved it but both the boss rush and Quint kept beating me and I eventually moved on.

For some reason, I stopped playing Scythe II after MAP23, which wasn't because of frusturation or anything, I just forgot for some reason. If I only knew at the time how good the levels were going to be from MAP23 onwards...
