Euroboros Community Sessions - Week #63: QCDE Deathmatch [Q-Zandronum]

 

Hello everybody! This week in ECS we are playing Deathmatch in Quake Champions: Doom Edition on Q-Zandronum!

 

The session commences tomorrow on Sunday, September 24th 2023, at 8PM CET / 2PM EST!

 

You can install QC:DE and Q-Zandronum in one package from here!
When the session starts, open your QCDE server browser and search for the server name once available!

 

Quake Champions: Doom Edition is a gameplay mod for Zandronum and Q-Zandronum developed by Michaelis and DBThanatos that brings the frantic Arena-FPS action with different champions in the style of Quake Champions to classic Doom! QC:DE features a handful of champions from QC, but also its own unique ones that reference other Quake games, and other classic FPS games from the 90s and 2000s. The champions have different abilities, but also different styles of movement and stats.

 

We will play the latest beta of QC:DE running on the latest version of Q-Zandronum both developed by geNia, featuring a completely revamped menu system, extremely similar to Quake Champions's menus. When joining a game, you can just click and choose your champion, your starting weapon, and spawn in! Optionally you can see further details of each champion's attributes in the join menu!

 

QC:DE is primarily a mod for deathmatch and other PvP modes, but it can also be played in co-op, in which the monsters can be based on different games which the champions also share!
