Tried opening pk3 files

So I tried saving my pk file to Slade but then it crashed for no reason, I opened it up again and it was f*cking blank. How do I solve this?

SLADE does strange things sometimes and you think everything went wrong but simply closing and reopening slade seems to work, always make back ups, if it went blank, one thing I did when that happened was copy and paste everything from my backup into the empty folder(that happens for whatever reason) and "save as"

...there's a 34 bit and 64 bit version if my memory serves of slade3 in their website to download, you may want to download the lower bit if it keeps crashing? It hasn't done that to me in a while thank goodness
