Euroboros Community Sessions - Week #64: Samsara Reincarnation 2.0 Scythe Co-op

 

Hello everyone! This week in ECS we are celebrating the recent release of Samsara Reincarnation 2.0 by playing a session of Co-op with it in the maps of Scythe!

 

The session commences tomorrow on Sunday, October 1st 2023, at 8PM CET / 2PM EST!

 

You will need the 64-bit version of Zandronum 3.1 to play in this session! Samsara Reincarnation requires it!

 

Samsara Reincarnation is a grand classic FPS crossover mod for Zandronum developed by the Samsara Reincarnation team and based on the Samsara mod by TerminusEst13. Samsara Reincarnation features over 30 playable characters, weapons and enemies from classic FPS games of the 90s and early 2000s! It can be played in Cooperative and Deathmatch, and remains very faithful towards each game represented!

 

Version 2.0 brings in new player classes, alt-classes for existing player classes, tons of improvements and fixes! The new classes are the Material Defender from Descent, Prisoner 849 from Unreal, Sarge from Quake III: Arena, JC Denton from Deus Ex, B.J. Blazkowicz from Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Daniel Garner from Painkiller.

 

Scythe is a 32-level megawad released in 2003 by Erik Alm, and created in just a few months. 31 maps were made by Alm, and one map, MAP31, was made by Kim "Torn" Bach. The wad was added to Doomworld's Top 100 WADs of All Time listing for the year 2003.
