S3M_XM Posted October 1, 2023 Played this on Chocolate Doom HMP, UV, and then HNTR. Tested all difficulties as above and it works perfectly normal with no crashes on my perspective. I couldn't find any secrets though. The health bonuses to carry up after pressing the switch to lower the down the platforms at the starting room. I don't know why the health bonuses also do that at the Rocket Launcher and Plasma Rifle rooms. Otherwise, it's fairly easy, but UV can get you at blue key fight. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

S3M_XM Posted October 1, 2023 After seeing your video, I take back on the "fairly easy" part then. It does get difficult playing on UV, mainly the plasma rifle/rocket launcher rooms where you have to deal with Barons of Hell in a claustrophobic room after getting the weapon, where they could corner you, the fight after getting the blue key, and the fight with the Cyberdemons for the red key. It's how I executed the fight that I found it fairly easy to me. But most of the others, can find it hard this on UV blind. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Quin Posted October 5, 2023 Stayed tuned for... ARCADE DOOM will soon be a vanilla map set that combines two new and upcoming maps, 'Red, Hot, & Ready!' and 'Noir' with my two standalone maps, 'Close Quarters' and 'Green, Brown & Blue' with various gameplay modifications such as extreme variations of both weapons and enemies! 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
AshtralFiend Posted October 6, 2023 Cool map with some great fights! It looks and plays great! The first fights with Barons and Cacodemons in those small rooms are without doubt the hardest part of the map if you don't know what's coming. The rest of the map is fairly smooth sailing. The secret was hidden in a devilish way: in plain sight but very hard to spot. Had to run around for almost 10 minutes to find it. Didn't encounter anything that looked broken, just spotted this misaligned texture while hunting for the secret. Keep up the good work! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Quin Posted October 10, 2023 Gameplay bugs, such as the lifting health bonuses and the misaligned texture, are now fixed and part of the updated file. Additionally, difficulty adjustments have been made, including moving and adding different items. As a bonus, here is a developer playthrough! It uses the most recent version of the map, demonstrating the differing placement of items. Download 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
Riclo500 Posted October 26, 2023 God damn, that map had alot of crazy nasty surprises in it. This was great to play through. Only took two tries! Near the end with the two cyberdemons, I like how there's that hiding spot behind the pillar which deceptively looks like the cybers can't get in there, until they do. Definitely an oshit moment. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
