I tried making another MIDI, and I started with the mindset of "lower-to-medium-paced Doom track I'd hear in a decino video"; I eventually settled on the track's name because it seems like a somewhat fitting track when looking at and taking in the scenery of a cool map (sorry if you thought this was a post about a cool sky texture I made). This time I tried to make it longer than a minute. Maybe this could've used an extra instrument to make it a bit more full or something, but as-is I think it sounds decent.

If you're going to keep making these (you should!) you probably want to keep them all in one thread, like other musicians here have done. Less forum clutter, and easier for people to follow as you post new stuff!

Since I'm new to Doomworld, I wasn't exactly sure if that was allowed or not, but I'll probably do this in the future (might reformat the initial post to accommodate later). I'm glad people like what I post!

When I was listening to some VGM earlier, I heard its piano bass and thought "that sounds kinda cool, I wanna try making something with piano bass", and so I did with Masher. At this point I feel like I have a routine workflow now and am just kind of experimenting with actual composing (AKA binging music theory videos on YouTube and trying to incorporate it all at once into a song).

rap prod 5k is an earlier unfinished MIDI I started in late September after hearing Megasphere's Not Even Remotely Fair OST, liking the laidback songs in that soundtrack, and wanting to make a trap MIDI song. However, now I don't know where to really take it anymore, so I'm just posting it here so it's out there; if I ever finish it, I'll post a finished version in here as well.

I like masher a lot, it's very vibrant. Cool sky texture is much more chill. These are great!
