HOM effect on all textures

Recommended Posts

So when I added custom WALL textures with "add to TEXTUREx" the hom effect happens on all wall textures.

Now I know @Chookum told me to rename the "TEXTUREx1" to "TEXTUREx2" but that still didn't work as i still get the hom effect.

Any solutions???

TEXTUREx refers to a TEXTURE1 or TEXTURE2 lump. Remove the second X from the name and it will work

Use Create New (empty)

S1VF0qX.png

which will give a Texture1 lump, rename that to Texture2.

The result is that the original textures are then in Texture1 from DOOM2.WAD

and the new textures are in Texture2.

Or select Import from Base Resource Archive to stick all textures into Texture1.

That worked!

Thanks!

Btw is it possible for the custom textures to be alone?

Like not mixed with the doom2 textures?

If I understand it correctly, you're not actually copying the actual doom 2 textures, you're just referring to them, and adding your additional textures to the table.

I did that, and the custom textures are with the doom 2 textures, however i don't want that.

What I want to is the custom textures to be in a seperate area.

The custom wall textures, not flat.
