BeefyBoi Posted October 20, 2023 I've created a Doom mod. Again. I've tried to make it copyright compliant. It's called Weirdoom (I probably should've called it Cursedoom). I made it the proper way (Making an empty archive with slade3). It modifies weapons and demons to be... weirder. I wanted to make something while I was working on another, rather large project. Here's what it does, in detail: Spoiler --PLAYER-- -Starts with 47% health. -Starts with 34 bullets instead of the usual 50. -Can hold up to 1200 bullets, 2000 shells, 100 rockets, and 20 cells. -FIST- -Acts like a shotgun. -Uses 1 bullet per shot. -CHAINSAW- -Shoots rockets rather quickly. -Uses 1 rocket per shot. -PISTOL- -Shoots plasma, like the plasma rifle. -Uses 1 bullet per shot. -SHOTGUN- -Shoots BFG balls, but they don't have tracers; it merely explodes on contact (In addition to impact damage). -Uses 2 shells per shot. -SUPER SHOTGUN- -Shoots rockets. -The sounds are a little mixed up (Intentionally, of course). -Uses 1 rocket per shot. -CHAINGUN- -Shoots plasma, like the pistol, but faster. -Uses 1 bullet per shot. -ROCKET LAUNCHER- -Shoots like a Super-Shotgun, but without the reload. -Uses 2 bullets per shot. -PLASMA RIFLE- -Shoots BFG balls very fast -Uses 2 cells per shot -BFG9000- -Acts like the fist -Uses no ammo per punch (Have fun playing this with plutonia!) --ENEMIES-- -ZOMBIEMAN- -Whenever they fire, they make an arch-vile attack. -SHOTGUNNER- -When they fire, they make an arch-vile attack. -CHAINGUNNER- -Whenever they fire, they make an arch-vile attack, RAPIDLY. -IMP- -Throws 3 pellets at you (Effectively acts like a shotgunner). -PINKY/SPECTRE- -If it bites you, it'll launch a revenant missile. -LOST SOUL- -Instead of charging you, they just make an arch-vile attack. -If shot out of pain elemental, they do their normal charge, but as soon as the charge stops, they'll make an arch-vile attack. -After they attack, they kinda do a little dance eternally until they hit a surface. -CACODEMON- -Shoots a pistol. -PAIN ELEMENTAL- -Does nothing unusual. -HELL KNIGHT- -Fires revenant missiles -Has glowing red claws, so as to match revenant missiles being red. -MANCUBUS- -Shoots rockets in volleys of 3 (Much like the cyberdemon). -ARACHNOTRON- -Acts like a chaingunner -REVENANT- -Does missiles normally. -If it's punch is whiffed (See definition below), it'll launch a cacodemon lightning ball. -ARCH-VILE- -Fires a rocket when the fire would normally explode. -Can, and often does, noclip through walls. -BARON OF HELL- -Launches rockets. -SPIDER MASTERMIND- -Constantly fires rockets. -CYBERDEMON- -Fire a 3-volley attack, just as normal, but the rockets turn into the below things, in order of the attacks: 1st, a revenant missile 2nd, a normal rocket, 3rd, a mancubus fire ball.
