I'm not exactly I'm sure I'd call 3 scattered maps a beta, especially when one of them is the final map and the other is the 32 slot, but screenies look promising. I'm not really in a mapping state of mind right now, but I wish you the best of luck on finishing this!

Oh, if you looked at the map order in this thread, and saw the "-", then it was just, that the level didn't have a name, not that the level is unfinished or not existing. Sorry about the confusion, if that was what you thought.

Gotcha, in that case I will try to give this a spin. Tangentially related but whenever I struggle with coming up with map names I think of horror movies or song names.

Heh, as a matter of fact, MAP30 is named after an song!

 

Oh, and also, if you decide to play it now, don't be suprised, if you find parts, where you can't progress. Alot of them were supposed to be finished by @knor964, but I haven't heard from him in a while, so I'll have to do this myself, which can take some time.

I just played the 1st stage. The level outlook and texture design was great and such.

Slightly easy with the Berserk pack avaiable without secret and such tbh, but considering it's the 1st level it's excusable.

I'll look forward to more stages when I can.

Heck yeah! THats a fun mapset so far. My YOLO test run killed me at Map04 but that was nostalgia feeling blast. Excellent scenarios going on throughout what little bit I did play.

I am proud of this team of what they achieved.

It looks so good to see a project I started by myself over 2 years ago to see it evolve in this amazing piece.

Bumping the thread because of an update to the .WAD, some changes are:

 

- The status bar, title screen, intermission screen, bossback and the credit screen have been added, all made by @Amaruψ

- Some maps have been cleaned up, like MAP01 and MAP02

- Reimagining of MAP03, by @Risk

- Work on the remaining levels has begun (MAP18, MAP24 and MAP27)

- Brand new MAP29, by @Amaruψ

 

There is also something hidden in the .WAD file, go see if you can find it! :D

I'd wager that you're quite new to the modding scene, much less new to the community altogether.

 

If you haven't yet noticed, the project's name currently bears the word "BETA". There never has been a restriction over providing a small showcase of the maps that you're working on, and wouldn't be in the future. If you've got an issue with this, then without any offense, others don't particularly care.

Once again bumping the thread as Beta 4.0 rolled in, here are some changes:

 

- MAP21, MAP29 and MAP30 are now finished

- Brand new MAP07, about 25% done

- more new textures, by @Amaruψ

- work started on the remaining unfinished levels (MAP04, MAP18, MAP20, MAP24 and MAP27)

- Visual revamp on MAP06 is 50% done

- Improved MIDI placement

 

Hoping to also implement a .DEH soon, if we come up with names for all of the maps.
