Doom hybrid monster pack

Love the horned Imp in particular. Reminds me of the demons on the cover art ^_^ great job!

I was wondering about making this .pk3 work without DOOM2.WAD mounted, I know for sure that I'd have to add sounds from doom to it. I'm not sure if things like A_HeadAttack would work without DOOM2.WAD or would they have to be replaced with A_SpawnProjectile, or what else I would have to add/replace.

 

Also skeletons soon.

Sounds like you wanna compile a completely separate game using GZDoom. I have no idea how to do any of that or what it would require in regards to code changes :D Sorry.

Just added revenants, link in the OP has been updated. Aside from that:

-monsters now have their own category in UDB editor (Hybrid Monsters)

-they now have proper blood particle colours (caco-things bleed blue etc.)

-they now have proper obituaries

-unless your map has some things with IDs that are around 16000 you won't have to add these manually to MAPINFO anymore

Added two more imps and since I started working on zombies earlier and I couldn't be arsed to remove what I already put in archive for the sake of update, there is one new zombie in there aswell. Link in the OP has been updated.

 

I was thinking about what to do with zombies for quite some time and I decided that I'll give them various demon attacks but instead of making them look like demons from which their inherit given attack I'll stylize them to look like they have equipment that allows them to peform such attack e.g. mancubus-zombie has flamethrower.

Added 10 more monsters. I am slowly inching towards having all the monsters that I want to use in randomizer for Ultimate Doom, although I have some problems with setting up randomizer that isn't bad:

Added two more monsters, beta Lost Soul and did some minor fixes, link in the OP has been updated.

I decided that zombies don't fit here and I'm moving them to different monster pack, I'll post it once it has few enough zombies.
