Monsters showing through floor

I'm working on a map for a community project, but there are some problems. We are using the "enemy raise from the ground trick", and this is how it's presented in DSDA Doom. Also, some of the middle textures we've used are below ground, and we'd like them to not be visible like this. They are supposed to be stair guardrails. Is there any way to fix this?

I think I saw a thread on the railing bug recently. I don't know if it'll work for the monsters below the floor, but it might work for the guard rails. Change the light level of one of the sectors so it's not exactly the same. Just one unit of difference should do it, and that will be imperceptible to the player (as the light level only visibly changes every 16 units).

Thanks, Stabbey, that actually does it for the railings. Weird little thing. Now as for the monsters, maybe lowering them a lot more so they don't even appear on screen?
