Kid-friendly doom

A wad that removes all gore, gory textures, and gibs. This is the first wad i've ever released, so it will be a bit amateurish. anyway here are some screenshots

Name: Kid friendly doom

Ports tested: GZdoom only

IWAD: doom 2 (it does work for doom 1, but some textures are missing)

Gameplay: only tested in singleplayer, but would work for co-op and deathmatch

Wad concept - me
Goreless zombiemen, shotgun guys, ss,pinky and player sprites - shoddily made by me using slade’s built-in sprite editor
Goreless baron of hell and mancubus - horror movie rei on the zdoom forums
Other sprites (except for the ones mentioned below)- me
Bloodless archvile sprites -  JoeyTD, Zdoom forums
New wolfenstein wall textures from wolfstone 3d (ripped by Dunkelschwamm on the spriter’s resource)
Chaingunner death animation - Damson on the zdoom forums (slightly edited by me to have less blood)
Trash can sprite -from what i can tell, it’s a duke nukem 3d sprite edited by captain awesome on realm667.
Cow skull - captain awesome on realm667
Hanging corpse replacements - chex quest
Hanging chain - the chain from psx doom, submitted to realm667 by scalliano and the blood edited off by me.
Boxing gloves and bloodless mugshot - punchout doom

Theres another mod like this called NOUV- No Ultraviolence. It has a different style so don't feel like this was wasted effort. I absolutely love these kinds of projects especially since this is only the second one I\ve seen that takes the effort to make it happen.

I've wanted to do something like this, instead of killing and blood going everywhere...write some script to have demons pace themselves in a way where Tag You're It! could work...

There would be no projectiles from any of the enemies, it couldn't work the way a standard DOOM map is laid out,

..maybe someday.
