Looking for atmospheric doom wads

I want some nice and atmospheric wads, thats it, just some vibey doom stuff, thanks in advance :))

i'm not sure exactly what you mean by "atmospheric" but, from what i've read, one person who's work is quite popular in the doom community is lainos

it's not really hard to understand when you play his wads, and they kind of obviously belong in that category, they are mostly vast levels that sometimes take place in town settings and involve a lot of exploration with a kind of creepy atmosphere, desolate landscapes and droning music, they definitely feel "personal" and it looks like this person poured a lot of himself into this work

also i guess that some levels made by people's lainos been involved with like beewen or dragon hunter sometimes follow a similar style, but i think they often feature a bit more enemies than his stuff, and i would say the same about other authors i personally really like and that are also well-liked in the doom community from what i gathered, like didy who made several levels with a kind of "adventure" feeling to it, and naturaltvventy who made a lot of levels with pretty heavy vibes

so i guess the lainos stuff is pretty easy to indicate for that sort of request, anyway it's worth a look if you are into this sort of things

 

edit: maybe you would also like to check out stuff like hell ground which is also something a lot of people like, and a cool wad called grove, i knew this one was popular but from a thread i made recently i discovered there really is a big number of people who like it

I was looking for some chill relaxing atmosphere but I'll take some oppression too, thats always interesting :))

Pretty much everything made by Doomer Boards Projects qualifies in this.

Lost Civilization has some pretty chill maps at the first third. Huge, elaborate, nonlinear, open levels with lots of vegetation and pretty vistas. As chill as it can be with demons throwing fireballs at you.
