John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Cernel Joson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad "I want to be on the ships daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were demons.
"This is Joson" the radio crackered. "You must fight the demons!"
So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
"HE GOING TO KILL US" said the demons
"I will shoot at him" said the cyberdemon and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the demons" he shouted
The radio said "No, John. You are the demons"
And then John was a zombie.

Unrelated to creepypastas, but I got this weird Doom wad recently from my friend. For some reason he told me, "Destroy this Doom Wad right now, or else you will DIE IRL" but as a gamer... I thought it'd be fine.

 

I loaded it up and it was normal Hangar, but all the zombie were hyperrealistic graphics and Doomguy looked sad :( (which is not normal to Doom). When I shoot the zombis, they screamed bled curding screams at max volume. I was considering turning off the game, but my curiousity made me continue (because I am a gamer)

 

I reached the end of the level, but then DoomGuy.exe noclipped through the wall and insta killed me. Then I left my computer and found a BLOOD covered DOOMGUY PLUSHIE on my bed, and then I DIED IRL.

 

Was a pretty weird experience, but hey it's whatever.

What's so fascinating about doom creepypastas? Because they're all the same.

You start in an empty copy of entryway/ hangar with no music, and then you go to the next level and then some spoopy scary face start to chase you! And then you DIE!!!!! all of this happening while doomguy's giving you the "🤨" face.

Okay so I'm not sure if I missed something but where are all these terrible doom creepypastas you guys are talking about? I remember I searched for Doom creepypastas sometime in 2015 and I couldn't find any, good or bad. Were all these written in recent years? I think there was only one Doom creepypasta that I found but I think it doesn't exist anymore.

 

EDIT: The one Doom creepypasta I did remember was here. It's a Wayback Machine link and I don't know if this story is still up on Creepypasta wiki or not.

Well 7869.wad is a gross and terrible one, in terrible I mean the creepypasta story had broken English and the storyline is somewhat not good but bit interesting, also I don’t recommend playing this one if you don’t like gore.

bloodline feels like potential creepy pasta material even though it's not at all and is just a weirdly put together wad, also i'm pretty sure if strain came out today in a way that could somehow bring attention to it, people would find a way to turn this kind of stuff into a creepy pasta because of how kind of cursed it is (especially because of the weirder levels like "unknown" which i just replayed and is probably my favorite björn hermans level just because of the crazy looking first area)

See, I was away from the community right when Myhouse was released. I remember checking the thread, and based on the first few comments assumed that it was just a normal My House wad. When I came back months later it was all over the internet in general - gaming websites, reddit, Doomworld, etc. You couldn't escape it. By this point I've heard so much about it that I just have no urge to even try it. I'm sure it's incredible on a technical level, but I already know too much about it for it to be a surprise, and I'm burned out on it even though I've never played it. I was the same way with Star Wars - even though I'm a big film buff, I avoided the movies for a long time because I was so tired of hearing about them. With Star Wars it was worse though, because the fanbase is so obnoxious a lot of the time. When I watched the movies, I thought "okay, cool I guess". I could admire the earlier films on a technical level, but I had already looked at it, heard it, heard about it, read articles about it, witnessed offputting arguments about it, that there was no way I was ever going to become a Star Wars fan. It's the same with myhouse. It's just too late for me to get into it the same way other people did. The curse of popularity is oversaturation - it leads to people calling "popular thing x" overrated, not because they're trying to be a contrarian, but because they're already tired of it and because such a high bar has already been set. I don't want to be That Guy who yells in public/solitude/prison about how myhouse isn't actually that great, so I'll just skip it.

 

To answer the question though, I feel like a lot of the stories about Eric Harris are just creepypastas by immature people who can't come up with their own ideas, so they lie, or choose to believe the lies about Eric Harris, in order to entertain themselves or get attention on Youtube.

 

Also OP can you please stop with the whole "OMG I can't believe how popular my thread is" shit?
