For one million dollars, I would, actually. Literally, I would play it one second and then I would uninstall it. :P

No, the game would be able to lie about how many hours you played it and if it was actually uninstalled.

Also, how is the guy not in prison already? He seems to be losing every court battle he finds himself in.

I wonder if an argument be made that he's so deep in court fees that any money he'd make from this would functionally be going to the parents of the Sandy Hook victims?

But why do that when you can grab They Always Run for less then half of that and then donate the rest of what you'd pay to a charity of your choice?

Rudolph doesn't seem to understand the difference between criminal and civil cases. What Jones said about Sandy Hook and the parents wasn't illegal, but stating things about people you know to be false is a civil violation, and he compounded it by roping in his delusional cult like followers as proxies who harrassed the hell out of them causing massive expense and anguish.

I don't believe the settlements are set in stone yet, and there's one other case still pending i believe. Jones is pulling various shady moves to make it look like he's bankrupt when he isn't. But until the settlements are all finalized and Jones has no ways to slither out of it, the families won't get a thing.

Just give me the twenty dollars instead. I can fix the gay frogs via specialized backyard conversion therapy. I can prove that Sandy Hook was committed by the president. I have pictures of NASA's Icewall. I know enough about algebra to prove that the Earth is flat. I have a master's degree in both steel beams and jet fuel. I've shot down several of the UFO's in Isreael. I hid in the oven while it was on in order to spy on Hillary having sex with those children. I worked with Anonymous to upload viruses into the Tornado Generator. I have the experience, so why give your money to this fucker? Your donation is non-refundable and comes with a free key for Metal Slug Anthology on Steam, as well as a picture of the homosexual frog, to be named after you, that you are symbolically adopting.

Pretty much this, although this position makes you a Sandy Hook denier in Rudolph's eyes if the last time this topic came up is anything to go by...

Yeah, but it would not really matter, as I still would not be praising or promoting the game and I would be a millionaire. ;)

America is so fucked-up: poor parents can face jail time for lacking the means to send their children to school, but a terminally-bankrupt guy like Alex Jones is free to go about his day and double down on doing the very things that got him in trouble in the first place.

Nope, the game would even be able to fake a social media account where a fake you will praise the game.

It is a game, not a rogue AI. XD

And if you complain that the account is not yours or that the game is not a game but a rogue AI, the game will create a truckload of fake accounts that will troll you, sue you, threaten you, doxx you.

Perhaps if you meet the criteria of not being in a zone where a bus can pick up up your kid and you cannot drive them/walk them/know someone who can take them and you cannot homeschool them and you have no internet access for online schooling... well, maybe you should have thought before deciding to have children.

Alex Jones is free to go about his day because, as you would know if you read the people replying to you, this is a civil case. America is far from the only country that operates this way in regards to slander/defamation - in fact, in your own country (France) it appears that the majority of these cases are also civil, not criminal.

To add to this, and this may be the reason for the "game" launch in the first place: Alex Jones can't use bankruptcy to avoid the sandy hook judgements. He's scrambling for money, begging for donations, and shilling his various snake oils more than ever before because he now knows that he can't escape his civil liabilities.

I am surprised that it took him this long to commission a video game in the first place.

I would have at the very least expect him to cameo in a Postal game or something.

I was gonna say Postal wouldn't stoop that low, then I noticed Postal 4 is still installed (they definitely would go that low).

(It doesn't matter I'd still love you RWS)

Yeah watched that video already. I have no doubt though he's going to try other crap and drag things out.

I always thought that game was about vikings? Maybe I'm confusing it with Origins. I know Odyssey was the Mario one. It's so hard to remember anything ever since the day the chemtrails fell.

At the height of GamerGate, they did add Milo Yiannopoulos (remember him?) to Postal 2, if memory serves.

In hindsight, it is weird how InfoWars never tried to capitalize on that whole (astroturfed) debacle. Maybe Alex Jones never really cared all that much about video games to begin with and is only doing it now out of sheer desperation?

I'm no Alex Jones or Infowars simp (outside of maybe all the funny ironic shitposting and memes surrounding the guy)...

But I have to say this game looks pretty fun and hilarious to watch as both a game and read as a form of over-the-top political satire.

Even if the way Alex Jones shouts while advertising this game in this ad admittedly came off a bit cringe and sussy at the same time.

What about making a Alex Jones wad?

Now on the other hand, making a Doom wad based on Alex Jones would probably be a far better idea than this game.

Gives me even more great ideas to mix other mods and wads with for hilarity and lulz.

Some far-right American radio show host and conspiracy theorist that everyone online makes a ton of hilarious memes, shitposts, youtubepoops, and jokes out of based on his most hyperbolic and outrageous soundbites, especially in political circles.

And a guy who tried to pull a stunt out of denying the veracity of the Sandy Hook shootings, calling all the parents of the victims "crisis actors", which is a bit of a stupid move (even though I couldn't otherwise care less for the guy in and of himself).

The only thing wrong with the trailer is using an NES Joe & Mac ROM hack as an example for "Super Mario Brothers". Other than that it looks similar in conception as e.g. the AVGN fan games.

Oh! I knew I had seen that style elsewhere before.

Now, I feel bad for James Rolfe...

Alex Jones lies and exaggerates so much as part of his brand that the only way anything he makes could be read as satire is if he were to approach a subject somberly and tastefully. Like, seriously, even on the rare occasions where he is actually kind of right about something (e.g. when he confronted Karl Rove at the airport), he cannot help but frame it with all the grace and restraint of a pro-wrestling announcer.

He was also ironically kinda right about chemicals in the water turning frogs "gay" or something. Even Rationalwiki said this (years ago at least).

Not really. Conspiracy theorists will always use a semblance of truth to go on unhinged tirades that leads their viewers towards the wrongest of conclusions. In the case of said gay frogs, Alex Jones' issue is more about some sinister conspiracy to corrupt the youth and what not and less about mass deregulations under capitalism allowing companies to get away with all sorts of dangerous practices.

It is like watching Julia Roberts in "Erin Brockovich" and coming to the conclusion that single mothers should stay at home or something...
