I linked DoomII (Zandronum) to a local large language model to experiment making a mod that I couldn't get out of my mind where you are a psychiatrist assigned by Hell to console and bully the terrified monsters into standing up and fighting against Doom

A weird mod I had stuck in my mind for a while so decided to make. Acting as a psychiatrist assigned by hell to convince the demons to overcome their fear of Doomguy who will be arriving shortly.

An experiment in using Doom (via Zandronum) to link up to an LLM (Openhermes-2.5-mistral-7b.q3_k_s) running in Oobabooga and allowing for conversations via the in game chat.

Chat is done via the in-game chat in Zandronum which is picked up by ACS and saved to the Zandronum database which is then read by a python script and passed back and forth between it and the LLM

Note that I am brand new to these language models, so likely running them completely incorrectly. Happy to take all suggestions and guidance on board

No download but I can try and clean up the code if anyone wants it  - it's faffy getting the LLM stuff installed but it might still be of interest to someone.
