JoeyKelastiof Posted February 27 I always try to get all three at 100%, and I get frustrated when I can't lol. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
continuum.mid Posted February 27 (edited) I don't go for 100% anything, because to me spending an hour looking for secrets and stragglers isn't fun, even on replay. Though I try to kill all the monsters that I do find, which means that in more linear maps, I often end up with 100% kills. And I do challenge myself by trying to keep saves to a minimum. Save-scumming and running past all the monsters to get to the exit feels like I accomplished nothing. Edited February 27 by continuum.mid 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
ApprihensivSoul Posted February 27 Secrets, yeah, but I deliberately hide the counters on first run when I'm playing for fun. I explore a hell of a lot, but mastering a level takes the fun out of it for me. The only real enjoyment is in the progress. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
No-Man Baugh Posted February 28 Generally I keep the mid-game stats counter disabled (for too many reasons that I care to list) but I still try to aim for 100% KIS until I have to backtrack for too long. I'd say the only stat that hurts to not 100% is kills. Because killing things is like the feature presentation, whadya mean there's 1 bozo left running around that I missed? (Still isn't enough to get me to immediately replay the map 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
storm123321 Posted March 1 No unless the map is short asf And maybe 100% kills on decent sized maps 0 Quote Share this post Link to post

Devalaous Posted March 2 2 hours ago, JoeyKelastiof said: Nice job! where do you get those stats? Its a built-in feature of Doom Launcher. Woof, DSDA Doom, Crispy Doom, and various ZDoom family ports save these stats and Doom Launcher pulls them and records them on its interface. DSDA Doom also has its own internal level stat tracker in its menus that records all your best times and stats for every single wad you play, but you cant really check them outside the program like you can here. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
