Lines becoming impassable/disappear

Hello!

I have a slight problem when trying to draw lines. Everything was alright, and then in this particular area, the line doesn't appear when I finish it, and if I connect it, it just becomes an impassable one, with the texture being off on one side. I know about the option to make in passable but that doesn't help. If anyone encountered this issue before, please let me know what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it, cheers!

What about starting the line draw from a different point? Also, if "auto-finish drawing" is active, turn it off. If that doesn't help, you may need to temporarily create a different sector around it, then delete it and "make sector" on the void to try and make it less confused.

Nothing works. Nothing in that area works. I draw a line anywhere and right click it, it vanishes, then if I do connect it, it becomes white and screws up. The auto-finish also doesn't work. I googled this problem and nothing popped up that properly explains this. I don't know what to do; I just can't build anything in that particular area. I tried copying it and pasting it somewhere else on the map, but it stays the same no matter what. Now I tried to move the other lines and it screws up everything.

Down below; I had a line, then just moved it up a bit and it fucked up and became impassable. That's what's going on.

What exact editor and version are you using? And providing the WAD might help.

I'm using the latest, up-to-date version of Ultimate Doom Builder. I'm currently still working on the map, and it's a bit too big to upload...

You could be facing some variation of this issue.

In UDB you should avoid sectors that close on themselves with a single line, trying to draw any complex geometry (sometimes just any lines at all even) inside them can produce weird outcomes - unwanted sector merges, voids and whatnot:

I ended up deleting the whole thing and re-doing it. It's smooth so far, no problems like this yet. Bit more time to do certian stuff, but I rather have this than it screwing up on me again.

So this is like a bug? Because I've googled what this could be and haven't found anything related to this type of problem before. But this does seem to be the closest to what I'm facing.
