Hello.

 

 This is a sequence of UACBIO.
 "After escape from bioweapons facility, the marine arrive in an old mine..."

Tested on GZDoom 4.11.3 (Designed for)
UV / HMP

Singleplayer
IWAD Doom 2
1 map
Recommend freelook, jump and crouch

 

Dark Sectors, brightmaps, lights, hardware rendering, etc for intended atmosphere.

Flashlight (Default key "F"). Check "options".

 

Note: The hellish areas are one time go in/out. When you leave, can't go back. Maybe there's something useful...

This looks pretty dope, nicely done. I'll play it vanilla first, but it looks like it'd be a good map for the "Lost In Darkness" mod as well.

Played through this map and i must say! this is certainly impressive! from the sector details to the way the level flowed was absolutely amazing! The fights were tricky, and it kept everything extremely fresh throughout the whole level, the only gripe i really have is that the combat possibly should have been a bit more staggered to help allow for the already flawless atmospheric track and lighting to allow more tension to build

 

9/10 for me!

Enemy placement are the hardest part for me. But sometime i'll do this right...

I noted that people refuse to use the flashlight. The map was built to use it (that's why the darkness).
The flashlight help to find the secrets and navigate on the hellish area plataforms, that you was trying to jump.

Awesome work, Aeddes :)

Very detailed environments and I think this is your best map yet; both in regards to resource management and map readability. I didn't get lost, which is a new one for me :P, but despite being a series of (mostly) underground tunnels and chambers it's fairly easy to navigate and interesting to look at. Finished in 35 minutes on HMP in GZDoom. Used flashlight, jump and crouch :D

 

I got a script launching error when picking up the yellow key card. I'm fairly sure you just forgot to link the script name to the Thing special. Easy fix :)

This was easy to build, with less resources.

 

Planning next map more outdoors.

Hummm. This floor is supposed to rise when you step in the open area.

A pretty good map! Very detailed with great lighting work!

Loved those sudden dimensional shifts that send you to hell without warning. Shame they are one-time only: you end up losing resources and enemy kills if you leave too early. Other than that minor detail, it's a must-play.
