Overused & Underused Unofficial Doom MIDIs

You know, I would've said Fire Hive at one point...but to be honest, Astral Dreadnought feels like more than a match for that one, despite that it's most certainly better.

While this is technically an official midi, I think "AimShootKill" is severely underused. I believe it should be used on every map in all wads. Just imagine all your favorite maps with this midi. I think it especially fits horror-themed maps, and long grindy maps. It's the perfect midi!

Both of these are pretty similar cases because I think they’re only considered “overused” because of a previous influential epic map (Demonic Hordes and The Mucus Flow) using them. In these cases, a map has to really live up to the expectations that associations with those maps bring and most of them just don’t.

nobody told me about id (and its remixes) is used way too damn much, it fits for e2m8 and go 2 it, but outside of those examples it just feels dry

as for underutilized tracks, i think that any of lee jackson's non-rott compositions deserve some love (especially not wearing plaid)
