I didn't want to be the first one to say this, and I made an entire post on Saturday night, and I thought "Well, maybe I'm just being an asshole because my leg hurts, it's been giving me issues for years, and my dog jumped at a deer and I slipped and I haven't slept because of it for a few days"... and I didn't post it.

 

But yeah, this has really, really worn it's welcome out. And I'm surprised it's been welcomed at all, if this is a troll, it's a low level troll. The Geico caveman was never funny. And this has never really been funny either.

well sorry, but Grungo does it has a persona, I don't do it to troll, it's just grungo's personal mark and I do not intend to hurt anyones feelings over it.

however if it is troubling people, I will cease to make anymore posts on Doomworld, i don't wanna make more people sad and annoyed, I just thought it's fun and silly.

On the Grungo thing, imo it's not a big deal by any means, but also sort of unfunny by now. I expected a short lived gag, generally preferring people to be their actual selves (within reason), but oh well

I believe there is an option to IGNORE posts from particular users and if you use, you won't

see Grungo responses but still be able to view the rest of the community's posts in any topic.

 

Not long after Grungo posts began, I contemplated putting Grungo in wad file as a custom

monster. Probably the only reason I haven't yet is end-of-year paperwork/taxes crap taking

up all my time ATM.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Just observing the joke's played out. In a weird way i find his determination to stick with the gag at all costs funnier than the gag itself.
