NOVA IV, MBF21 compatible project for beginners (slots filled)

Add me to the backup queue as well :) I just started mapping back in July and would love an opportunity to work with other newcomers, sharpen my skills, and contribute to such an awesome community project. I'm bummed I missed the boat on this, but looking forward to playing it, nonetheless. Good luck to all involved!

My god. 2 hours in and all the slots are already filled. If there's an opening in Episode 3, @ me and count me in.

EDIT: Hell, If there's an opening anywhere in the wad, @ me and count me in. Preferably Episode 3, but I think it's best if I'm not picky.

Gonna also echo what Misty suggested, because if it's gonna be MBF21, maybe utilizing UMAPinfo to add another episode (or two even) could be on the table. Looking at the amount of people who barely missed the boat or signed up as backups, there's certainly room for it.

I missed my shot for a map slot, but I'd really like to make some music for this. I need some excuse to make more music, it's a lot easier to me to compose with a goal in mind.

One reason I can see for @obake to not want to do another episode is to limit the scope of what they have to manage. Co-ordinating a 32 map megawad is no small responsibility, perhaps they don't feel comfortable taking on more work than that.

 

It does certainly look like there's enough demand for almost a whole other 32 maps though, so maybe something can be worked out, either with UMAPINFO or someone else taking up the responsibility of managing NOVA IV, side 2.

They say MBF21, so use MBF21. Idk what exactly you mean by 'from the start' though so maybe I'm confused too.

Now that I've slept on it a little, to extend the map list AND keep the Nova brand consistent, maybe separate it into A/B sides? Something like Nova Light and Nova Dark (+Megiddo Light and Megiddo Dark), or something among those lines.
