BUYXRAYS Posted January 17 (edited) I have been wanting to release one of my doom maps that took about 1 week to make. It is and urban styled doom map taking place in a sky setting. It is designed for the plutonia experiment and uses boom. The gameplay is about 2 minutes. It has support for easy, hmp, and ultra-violence. It has co-op support but no deathmatch. The map is not finished and I hopefully will add 2 more maps. It is designed for eternity engine but should work on gzdoom and any other source port tha supports boom-compatible maps. JustHeziel Posted January 17 Hi, there. I tested on DSDA 0.27.5, no problems so far. Had a good time trying to be efficient in the first room, a little challenging if you can't dodge in tight spaces. Nice :) Only thing that happened in my first run, was to run straight to the shotgun, and fell down outside the map, lol. I think that was because I stepped on the sliding wall quickly enough. DynamiteKaitorn Posted January 17 Looks nice! That being said it's very easy to cheese all of the fights without shooting. XD Somehow I got 35% kills without firing my gun once. DoomGuy999 Posted January 20 Alright, here is my review The map is decent and it pushed my doom II skills to the limits on ITYTD. I'm not the best at the game, but it was a good challenge. Positive Intermission screen was cool CHEESE at the end of the level good challenge Negative BRO WHAT WAS THAT SKYBOX chose one of my least favorite tnt ost, but it fit the hell map ahh the hell knights... 6.5/10 keep up the good work though. ElPadrecitoCholo Posted January 22 @BUYXRAYS Hey, here's a gameplay of your map. Personally, I liked it because of how challenging it looks. There is almost not much space for combat and the enemies turn out to be ones that are a little complicated to defeat, however, I would at least recommend that you put a Chaingun ammo box at the beginning of the level so as not to make having to depend a little tedious of the Infighting between the Cacodemon and the Hell Knight. On the other hand, the rest of the fights were entertaining for me. I also liked the setting of the map so I would only have a complaint with the start of the level and nothing more. 0 Quote Share this post Link to post
